she just LOVES the New Testament
Why wait until Friday for catblogging when today is St. Francis' Day?
Some people say that too many Episcopalians just aren't sufficiently attached to scripture, but this clearly doesn't apply to our Foster, who just LOVES the bible -- especially the New Testament in Greek. Wonder where she gets that from?

When I was at college, Greek used to send me to sleep, as well.

Hee! I have a fairly similar shot of my own cat, sleeping on a Jewish text. :-) Maybe I'll have to post something for blogcatmas, after all...

Cat news in last section.
Have the leaves dropped from the ginko trees yet?
Best,

says "Hello!" to Foster.
Sugar

is more of an Orthodox cat. She loves icons. This is b/c they have hard edges that she can face-mark against, and she's never seen the edge of something that she didn't facemark. Yes, she's rather OCD. She routinely facemarks the Resurrection icon on my bedside table and they Rubylev's Trinity on the sofa endtable...
Roxy-cat also finds the Bible interesting--here are pics of her right after we were reading it together.

Your Foster looks just like my Sophia, and her predecessor, Hilary. Sophia, however, would not be asleep on your Greek NT, she would be trying to shred the corners of the pages. Great photo.
