Wow, nice timing to get that shot...
It would make a great photo for a caption contest, too :)

Great shot! I haven't gotten used to the timing with my digital camera, so I keep missing the mouth open shots.

Wow. It looks like Foster has the longest cat tongue ever.

And does he do that when it's time for a pill?

Foster (who's a female -- I named her after Jody Foster, because Foster was a talented young female who was going to Yale and enjoyed hanging out in the closet) does better than stick her tongue out when it's pill time -- she thrashes about, bites, and makes it pretty much impossible to get the pill down her throat. I must confess that she's supposed to be on medication for her slightly elevated blood pressure, but I gave up after a couple of very frustrating weeks, most days of which I couldn't even get near her to give her the pill -- she could tell what was coming, and she's VERY fast!
Bette, our calico cat, who needs pills two times on most days for her thyroid, is MUCH easier to medicate, since she hates to run and is generally far less interested in thrashing around. She is VERY good at giving dirty looks, though.
